Mr. James D. Robinson, III is a General Partner and Co-Founder at RRE Ventures LLC. In addition, Mr. Robinson was Chairman and CEO of American Express Company and Non-Executive Chairman of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of First Data Corporation and chairman of its Executive Committee prior to KKR taking the company private in 2007.
In addition to the Semtek board, Robinson serves on the Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company, and is an advisor to Novell. He is Honorary Chairman of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, an Honorary Trustee of the Brookings Institution, and Chairman Emeritus of the Partnership for New York City and the World Travel and Tourism Council. Robinson served as Co-Chairman of the Business Roundtable and as Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations. Mr. Robinson holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
